The BlueFloat Energy | Nadara Partnership has completed two-year wind and metocean monitoring campaigns at its Broadshore Hub and Bellrock floating offshore wind farm sites. The campaigns involved the deployment of Eolos’ FLS200 floating Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) buoys at the Broadshore Hub, located 50 km north of Fraserburgh, and the Bellrock site, 120 km east of Aberdeen.
LS Eco Advanced Cables launches consultation on Port of Tyne facility

LS Eco Advanced Cables (LSEAC), a joint venture between LS Group and Global Interconnector Group, has launched a five-week public consultation on its plans to build a high-voltage subsea cable manufacturing facility at the Port of Tyne. The cables would be used to transmit electricity generated by offshore wind farms to the UK mainland.
ACP appoints Artealia Gilliard as Chief Communications Officer

WindFloat Atlantic marks five years of floating wind operations

Ocean Winds, a joint venture between EDP Renováveis and Engie, is marking the fifth anniversary of WindFloat Atlantic, a semi-submersible floating offshore wind farm. Located 20 kilometres off the coast of Viana do Castelo, Portugal, the 25MW project has delivered 345GWh of electricity since commissioning.
KK Wind Solutions opens manufacturing site in India

KK Wind Solutions, part of A.P. Moller, has officially opened a new factory and office in Bengaluru, India. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Eske Bo Knudsen Rosenberg, Consul General of Denmark in Bengaluru, alongside partners, customers, and members of the KK Wind Solutions global leadership team. The new site covers a total area of 24,000m², including a 17,000m² facility with 14,000m² dedicated to manufacturing and logistics and 3,000m² to office space. The remaining 7,000m² is landscaped around the factory.
MEASNET confirms new Executive Board

MEASNET, the international network of wind energy measurement institutes, has confirmed the election of its Executive Board during its annual Council of Members meeting, held in April in Madrid, Spain. The board members were re-elected to continue in their roles: Monika Krämer as Chairwoman, Alejandro Martínez as Vice Chairman, and Íñigo López as Treasurer.

The company services wind turbines across four continents.
Vestas receives 48MW turbine order from ABO Energy in Germany

Vestas has secured a new turbine order from ABO Energy for the 48MW Schierenberg wind project in Germany. The project will use V150-6.0MW turbines and includes a 20-year service agreement. Turbine delivery and commissioning are scheduled for 2026.
