Nadara is expanding its use of ZX wind Lidar technology as it progresses with the repowering of wind farms across the UK. ZX Measurement Services is providing additional Lidars and field support for the measurement campaigns.
The work builds on Nadara’s existing fleet of ZX 300e wind Lidars, which are being used to support its UK repowering programme. Alongside its own equipment, Nadara is using additional Lidars and field services for measurement activities at several sites.
ZX Measurement Services has recently deployed a ZX 300e at a wind farm in Cumbria, England. A further deployment is being prepared for the proposed repowering of Beinn Ghlas Wind Farm in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, with the measurement location currently being assessed.
In addition to supplying the Lidars, ZX Measurement Services is providing field support for each measurement campaign, including deployment and ongoing operational support.
