Vroon Offshore Services has secured a long-term charter with ScottishPower Renewables to provide emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) services during the construction of the East Anglia Two and Three offshore wind farms off the coast of Suffolk, UK. The VOS Traveller will operate from the port of Lowestoft, with a crew of 24 working on a 28-day rotation. The charter is Vroon Offshore Services’ first long-term ERRV contract supporting the offshore wind industry.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted Elia Transmission Belgium a credit facility for the Princess Elisabeth Energy Island in Belgium. The loan will cover, among other things, the high-voltage substation on the island, 66 kV switching stations, transformers and alternating current connections to the mainland.

Skyborn Renewables and Stadtwerke München (SWM) have reached financial close for the Gennaker offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea. The project has a planned capacity of up to 976.5 MW and is located approximately 15 kilometres north of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula.
