Nordex is expanding its Delta4000 series with the new N193/7.X wind turbine. The turbine will be available in several nominal capacity configurations, allowing it to be adapted to different market requirements.
The N193/7.X has a rated capacity of 7.3 MW, a rotor diameter of 193 m and 95 m single-piece blades. The turbine can increase energy yield by up to 14% compared with the N175/6.X at typical low- to medium-wind sites.
For the German market, the turbine will initially be available with a maximum capacity of 6.6 MW. Key components, including the nacelle, turbine control system and electrical architecture, have been carried over from existing Delta4000 models and further adapted for the new turbine. Serial production of the N193/7.X is scheduled to start in 2029.
