European Energy has reached commercial operation at the 27 MW Tsoukes Sarres wind park in Greece, completing its first wind project in the country. Located in the Municipal Unit of Avlida across the regions of Voiotia and Evia, Tsoukes Sarres consists of six onshore wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 27 MW.
Construction began in 2024 in mountainous, rocky terrain at an elevation of approximately 700 metres. The wind park is now supplying renewable electricity to the Greek power grid.
Tsoukes Sarres is jointly owned by European Energy and Sampension. In December 2025, European Energy sold a 50 per cent stake in the project to the Danish pension company as part of their existing partnership in renewable energy investments across Europe.
