Spie Wind Connect and Wirescan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a framework for commercial and operational cooperation in the wind energy sector. The agreement combines Spie Wind Connect’s expertise in high-voltage field services with Wirescan’s cable diagnostic technology.
The cooperation will cover several areas, including LIRA (Line Impedance Resonance Analysis) cable measurement and diagnostic services, LIRA One equipment availability and rental, technical training, field service execution, and the development of joint case studies and industry initiatives.
The two companies aim to support wind farm operators and other industry stakeholders with cable condition assessment and field-service capabilities.
The MoU provides a framework for further cooperation. Spie Wind Connect and Wirescan will work towards detailed commercial and operational agreements covering the individual areas of collaboration.
