Uudenkaupungin Työvene has delivered the MCS SWATH 3, a crew transfer vessel (CTV) built on Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull (SWATH) technology, to Maritime Craft Services (Clyde). It is the first of three units under construction. Designed for offshore wind operations, the SWATH hull form reduces vessel motion in rough seas, improving stability, ride comfort and safety during transfers.

Jan De Nul has ordered a new vessel, the George W. Goethals, designed to protect subsea infrastructure. It will focus mainly on projects in the North Sea and Southeast Asia. The vessel has a carrying capacity of up to 37,000 tonnes and is fitted with a flexible vertical fall pipe and an inclined fall pipe system, enabling the placement of large rocks at depths of up to 400 metres.

ZX Lidars has launched the ZX 300e, its latest ground-based wind Lidar system, following independent testing that confirmed compliance with the IEC 61400-50-2 standard.
