Vard has delivered a hybrid construction and cable laying vessel to Japan's Toyo Construction, marking the Norwegian shipbuilder's first vessel delivered to the Japanese offshore wind market. The handover took place at Vard Langsten in Norway with representatives from both companies attending the delivery ceremony. The vessel is also the first ordered by Toyo Construction from Vard. The hull was built at Vard Shipyards Romania in Tulcea before final outfitting, commissioning and delivery at Vard Langsten.
