Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure (CC&L Infrastructure) has acquired a 49% stake in three operating wind projects in Ontario, Canada from NextEra Energy Resources. The portfolio includes Adelaide Wind (60 MW), Bornish Wind (73 MW) and Goshen Wind (102 MW), totalling around 235 MW of gross capacity.
All output is sold under 20-year power purchase agreements to the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). NextEra retains a 51% stake and will continue to manage and operate the projects. With this acquisition, CC&L Infrastructure’s renewable portfolio now approaches 2.4 GW, including more than 1.2 GW of wind capacity across 10 assets diversified by market, counterparty, jurisdiction and wind regime.
