Vestas has received a 186 MW order from EDF power solutions North America to supply 28 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines and two V162-6.0 MW wind turbines for the Forêt Domaniale wind project in Québec, Canada. The order includes a 10-year service agreement.
EDF power solutions and Vestas have partnered with Québec-based Marmen as the tower supplier, supporting 150 direct jobs in Matane. Delivery of the turbines is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.
