The Ocean Lake Wind Project in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia, Canada, has received environmental assessment approval. The project, being developed by EverWind NS Holdings and Membertou Development, will comprise up to 158 wind turbines with a total generating capacity of approximately 1,264 MW.

It is located near the communities of New Harbour, Goldboro, Larry’s River, Lundy and Roachvale. Construction is expected to begin in 2029 and take around five years to complete. The project is expected to create between 400 and 500 construction jobs, with a further 40 to 50 permanent roles during operations.
