ZF Wind Power reaches 10 GW milestone in offshore cooperation with Vestas

ZF Wind Power has reached 10 GW of shipped offshore wind capacity through its long-term partnership with Vestas. This represents more than half of Europe’s geared offshore wind capacity. The cooperation between the two companies began in 1995 with 500 kW turbines at the Tunø Knob offshore wind farm in Denmark.

Smulders, responsible for manufacturing suspended internal platforms for the Baltica 2 offshore wind farm, will use the terminal to store and assemble steel components.
