Port of Roenne continued to develop its role as a key logistics hub for offshore wind in 2024, with infrastructure upgrades allowing for increased project handling capacity. Phase three of the port expansion, carried out by MT Højgaard, was completed during the year and is expected to be finalised by the end of 2025. The expanded area enables the port to support two simultaneous offshore wind projects, strengthening its position in the Baltic Sea region.

The Nordex reported a stable financial performance for the first quarter of 2025. Turbine assembly reached 1,210 MW during the quarter, a 3 percent increase from 1,171 MW in Q1 2024. Rotor blade production grew by 14 percent to 1,188 units (Q1 2024: 1,039 units). Of these, 458 blades were produced in-house, while 730 units were sourced externally.

Ørsted will expand its Group Executive Team from 1 May 2025, appointing two new members to align leadership across the entire offshore wind value chain. The additions will bring direct executive representation for development, construction, and generation activities. Both appointments will report to Group President and Chief Executive, Rasmus Errboe.
