GE Vernova’s Wind segment recorded higher orders and revenue in the third quarter of 2026, with improved profitability compared with the same period last year.
Orders increased by 16% organically to US$2.1 billion, mainly driven by onshore wind equipment and services in North America.
Revenue rose by 3% organically to US$2.7 billion. Higher revenue from onshore wind services and offshore wind equipment was partly offset by lower onshore wind equipment revenue.
Segment earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) reached US$72 million, compared with a loss of US$61 million in the third quarter of 2025. The EBITDA margin improved to 2.6%, from minus 2.3%, supported by lower offshore project costs, tariff recoveries and higher onshore wind service revenue.
For the first nine months of 2026, Wind segment revenue totalled US$6.2 billion, down 8% compared with the same period in 2025. The segment recorded an EBITDA loss of US$585 million, compared with a loss of US$373 million a year earlier.
GE Vernova has revised its full-year 2026 outlook for Wind. It now expects organic revenue to decline by a mid-single-digit percentage, compared with its previous forecast of a low-double-digit decline. The company expects a full-year segment EBITDA loss of US$400 million to US$500 million.
