Fugro has appointed Emiel Jongerius as a member of its Board of Management and chief financial officer, effective 16 November 2026. Jongerius, 50, has experience in finance, business performance management and transformation in international organisations. His appointment runs until the close of Fugro’s annual general meeting in 2031.
From 2001 to 2018, he held senior finance and leadership roles at Royal Philips and Signify, including chief financial officer and head of strategy for Signify’s Lamps business. He joined AkzoNobel in 2018 and served as group controller until 2025. In late 2025, he joined Just Eat Takeaway, where he leads the finance function. Jongerius holds a master’s degree in economics and business from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a postgraduate degree in controlling from Nyenrode Business University.
