Dogger Bank Wind Farm completes foundation installation

Dogger Bank Wind Farm and Seaway7 have installed all 277 transition pieces, marking the completion of foundation work across the three-phase offshore wind project in the North Sea. Seaway7’s heavy-lift vessel Seaway Alfa-Lift installed the 87th and final transition piece on Dogger Bank C in late November.
DNV launches tools for analysis of floating offshore wind structures

Zephyr acquires Swedish offshore wind portfolio from Statkraft

Zephyr Renewable has signed an agreement to acquire a portfolio of offshore wind projects previously owned and developed by Statkraft. All projects in the portfolio are located in Sweden. Zephyr will lead the continued development of the projects, including Bothnia Offshore Sigma and Lambda North in the Bothnian Sea.
Ørsted and ESB joint venture awarded provisional rights for Tonn Nua offshore wind site

The Irish Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment has provisionally awarded the Tonn Nua offshore wind site to a joint venture between Ørsted and ESB. The site, off the coast of County Waterford, covers 306 km² and has been designated as the only location for bidders under Ireland’s second Offshore Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (ORESS).
