The topsides and jackets for OSS Zingst and OSS Darß have departed the Netherlands for installation in the Baltic Sea. The two offshore substations are part of OST-6-1 and will transmit electricity from the 927 MW Gennaker Offshore Wind Farm to the onshore grid.
The HSI joint venture, comprising Smulders HSM and Iv, is responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of the topsides and jackets for both offshore substations. Each substation has a capacity of approximately 450 MW.
