Full Circle Wind Services has secured a five-year operations and maintenance contract with NTR covering five Nordex N90 turbines at the Momerstroff Wind Farm in the Grand Est region of France. The turbines have a combined capacity of 12.5 MW and have been operating for around 20 years.
In addition to standard operations and maintenance services, the contract includes a retrofit programme aimed at extending turbine operating life and improving availability. The programme includes installing condition monitoring systems, upgrading internal control systems to improve pitch system reliability, and targeted converter upgrades covering cooling and protection.
Automatic lubrication systems will also be installed on key components.
The agreement includes curtailment and negative-price management. Full Circle will adjust turbine operation to meet grid requirements, including reducing or stopping generation when required. This is intended to help NTR avoid penalties while maintaining efficient operation.
