Nordsee One offshore wind farm signs a 5-year PPA with Shell

Nordsee One has announced the signing of a 5-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Shell Energy Europe for approximately one-third of the annual output from its 332MW Nordsee One offshore wind farm. The PPA will commence in June 2027 and a proportion of the renewable power will supply the REFHYNE 2 hydrogen electrolyser under construction at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland.

Rhode Island Energy ends offshore wind PPA talks with SouthCoast Wind

Rhode Island Energy has ended its negotiations over a proposed 200 MW power purchase agreement (PPA) with the SouthCoast Wind project, highlighting continued uncertainty in the offshore wind industry. The utility had extended its deadline for the PPA multiple times, but said it could not agree on terms. SouthCoast Wind, a 1,287 MW offshore project jointly developed by EDP Renewables and Engie, had already secured conditional contracts with Rhode Island and Massachusetts through a multi-state solicitation.
Caeli Wind extends its digital marketplace for wind projects
