Vestas has received firm turbine orders for two onshore wind projects in Germany: the 22MW Weisendorf project and the 14MW Bernau Albertshof II project.
The Weisendorf project, developed by WWS Projektbau, will use three V172-7.2MW turbines and includes a 20-year service agreement. Turbine delivery is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with commissioning planned for the first quarter of 2027.
The Bernau Albertshof II project, owned by Berliner Stadtwerke, will be equipped with two V172-7.2MW turbines under a 20-year service agreement. The delivery timeline has not been disclosed.
