UKA Group, including its stakes in partner projects, has won awards under the Federal Network Agency’s February onshore wind tender, securing over 600 MW for commissioning. With a total tendered volume of 3,445 MW, this represents a market share of around 17.5%.
The tender was oversubscribed by 128%, and the average volume-weighted award price fell to 5.54 ct/kWh—the lowest under the Renewable Energy Sources Act since 2018. Including stakes in 28 additional turbines at partner-operated wind farms that also received awards, the UKA Group and its partners can commission a total of 89 turbines in the coming years. The successful projects are located across Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
