Vestas has announced a 50 MW wind turbine order in Germany as part of its second-quarter 2026 intake. The order, placed by an undisclosed customer for an undisclosed project, includes the supply of seven V172-7.2 MW turbines.
The contract also covers a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled from the fourth quarter of 2027.
