Vestas has secured a 62 MW onshore wind order in Germany from JUWI for the Olsberg-Plackweg project. The order includes ten V162-6.2 MW turbines and a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is planned to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled from the second quarter of 2028.
In the United Kingdom, Vestas has also received a 90 MW order for an undisclosed project. The contract covers 20 V136-4.5 MW turbines and includes a 15-year service agreement. Delivery is expected to start in the third quarter of 2027, with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter of the same year.
In Italy, Vestas has been awarded two contracts with a combined capacity of 97 MW. The first, from Adest, covers the 42 MW Tricarico project and includes seven V162 6 MW turbines. The second, from Asja Energy group, relates to the 55 MW Alia Sclafani Bagni Valledolmo project, using a mix of V162-6.0 MW and V162-6.2 MW turbines. Both projects include 20-year service agreements, with delivery scheduled for the second half of 2026 and commissioning in 2027.
In the USA, Vestas has added a further 135 MW order for an undisclosed project.
