Nordex has received an order from Stawag Energie, a subsidiary of Stawag – Stadt- und Städteregionswerke Aachen, for five N163/6.X wind turbines. The turbines, with a hub height of 164 metres, are planned for the 35 MW Frettertal wind farm in the municipality of Finnentrop (Olpe district) in the Sauerland region.
The contract also includes a service agreement for a period of 20 years. Installation of the N163/6.X turbines is scheduled to begin in summer 2027, with commissioning expected in early 2028.
