Iberdrola and Gestamp have signed a 10-year renewable energy power purchase agreement to supply electricity to several of the company’s European plants. The agreement covers a total supply of 660,000 MWh and corresponds to 34 MW of installed capacity.
The electricity will be sourced entirely from renewable generation, consisting of approximately 80% wind and 20% solar. The supply will be backed by guarantees of origin certificates.
