Rezolv Energy and Ahold Delhaize have signed a 10-year Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) covering renewable electricity from two projects in Romania: the 300 MW Dunarea East Wind Farm and the 1.3 GWp Dama Solar project. The agreement covers 370 GWh of electricity annually.
The two projects are expected to generate approximately 2,580 GWh of electricity per year, with Ahold Delhaize purchasing the equivalent of around 14 per cent of their combined output. The company will receive Guarantees of Origin for 10 years, starting when both projects enter commercial operation in 2029.
Dunarea East is a 300 MW wind farm in Constanța County and forms part of the Dunarea East & West wind farm development. Dama Solar is located in Arad County, western Romania, and is expected to generate around 1,800 GWh of electricity annually.
Both projects were awarded Contracts for Difference (CfDs) in Romania's second CfD auction in 2025. Rezolv Energy is backed by Actis and Mubadala.
