Etem Gestamp has signed a 10-year virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) in Bulgaria with Rezolv Energy, an independent power producer backed by Actis. Under the agreement, Etem Gestamp will buy electricity from Rezolv Energy’s 461 MW Vifor wind farm.
The project is located in Buzău County, Romania, and is about to come onstream. Etem Gestamp is Sofia-based joint venture between Viohalco Group and Spain’s Gestamp Group, focuses on aluminium extrusion and processing for the automotive industry.
