Nordex has received an order from Max Bögl for the supply and installation of six wind turbines for the 42MW Peckelsheim community wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The project will use N163/6.X turbines installed on 164-metre-high hybrid towers.
Max Bögl will supply the concrete components for the concrete–steel hybrid towers. The contract also includes a 20-year service agreement. Installation of the first turbine is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with commissioning of the wind farm planned for later in 2027. The Peckelsheim community wind farm is being developed near Willebadessen in the eastern part of the Höxter district in North Rhine-Westphalia.
