Nordex has received a new order in Türkiye from Balıkesir Elektrik Yenilenebilir Enerji Üretim ve Satış, part of Efor Holding. The contract covers the supply and installation of 18 N175/6.X turbines, with a total installed capacity of 120 MW, for the R25-Balıkesir-2 wind power plant.
The turbines will be delivered in a cold climate version and installed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 119 metres. The site is located around 35 kilometres northwest of Balıkesir, at elevations ranging from 425 to 680 metres above sea level. Installation of the first turbine is scheduled for March 2027, with commissioning planned for August 2027. In addition to supply and installation, Nordex will provide service for a period of 10 years.
Nordex has also received an order totalling 39.9 MW from NeXtWind Management in Germany. As part of the Lütau 2 repowering project in the Duchy of Lauenburg district in Schleswig-Holstein, the company will supply seven N149/5.X turbines on 125-metre tubular steel towers, with a 20-year service agreement included.
This phase expands the existing Lütau 1 wind farm, which consists of five N149/5.X turbines and has been operating since 2025. With the addition of seven units, the site’s total capacity will increase to 68.4 MW. Installation is scheduled for spring 2027, with commissioning expected in summer 2027.
