Gonvarri Industries and Iberdrola have signed a 10-year renewable power purchase agreement. The contract covers the annual supply of 26,000 MWh of electricity to eight production facilities operated by Gonvarri Industries across four European countries.
It also includes guarantees of origin covering 100% of electricity consumption at those sites. Around 80% of the electricity will come from wind farms and the remaining 20% from solar photovoltaic facilities. The agreement is supported by 15 MW of installed renewable capacity from Iberdrola.
