Enercon has received the final type certificate for its E-175 EP5 E2 wind turbine. Following successful completion of the validation phase, certification body TÜV SÜD confirmed compliance with the international IECRE standard and handed over the certification documents.
The E-175 EP5 E2 product range has also been expanded with a 6 MW variant for the international and German markets. Enercon is set to present further enhancements to the E-175 EP5 E2, aimed at increasing energy yield, at WindEnergy Hamburg.
