C-Job Naval Architects and offshore operator Glomar have unveiled the design of a multi-purpose Offshore Support Vessel (OSV). At nearly 80 metres long, the vessel is designed to carry out a range of offshore tasks, including subsea inspections, cable trenching and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations.
The vessel will be equipped with Dynamic Positioning 2 (DP2), Ice Class certification, an ROV hangar, a moon pool and dedicated deck space for trenching equipment. It will accommodate up to 60 personnel in 42 single cabins and nine double rooms, with additional facilities including a gym, sauna and outdoor lounge.
The vessel will use dual-fuel engines capable of operating on methanol and marine gas oil (MGO), supported by integrated methanol tanks and battery systems. The design includes Methanol Ready and Green Plus notations.
