Wind energy remained the largest renewable source of electricity in the USA during the first ten months of 2025, according to a review by the Sun Day Campaign based on data from the Energy Information Administration. Wind turbines generated 9.9% of total U.S. electricity output over the period, marking a 1.1% increase compared with the same months in 2024 and producing 84% more electricity than hydropower.
Seatrium and Maersk resolve dispute over wind turbine installation vessel

Seatrium has reached an agreement with Phoenix II, an affiliate of Maersk Offshore Wind, to resolve a dispute related to the construction of a wind turbine installation vessel. The agreement follows earlier termination notices and arbitration proceedings initiated by both parties in connection with the vessel construction contract. Under the revised arrangement, Seatrium Energy International will deliver the vessel, with Phoenix II taking delivery by 28 February 2026.

GE Vernova to deliver 42 turbines for 256 MW Carmody’s Hill wind farm in Australia
