Vestas to supply wind turbines for Ukraine’s Tyligulska wind project

Vestas has secured a 384 MW order for the second phase of DTEK’s Tyligulska wind energy project in Ukraine. This follows the 114 MW Tyligulska I order received in March 2021, which was commissioned in spring 2023.

The initiative aims to strengthen Scotland’s offshore wind sector by supporting and connecting supply chain organisations across the country, from the Borders to the Highlands and Islands.
Salamander completes data monitoring at floating offshore wind site

Salamander, a joint venture between Ørsted, Simply Blue Group, and Subsea7, has concluded its metocean data monitoring campaign for the proposed floating offshore wind farm off the north-east coast of Scotland. The project team retrieved floating LiDAR and wave buoy equipment after conducting the survey, which began in October 2023.
Suomen Voima and Statkraft sign first PPA in Sweden

Suomen Voima and Statkraft have entered into a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) in Sweden. The contract covers an estimated annual volume of 100 GWh, sourced from Statkraft’s Björkhöjden wind farm and Nedre Bjurfors hydropower plant.
WFW advises Aer Soléir on 360 MW Greek wind projects

Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) advised Aer Soléir and 547 Energy, along with their Greek subsidiaries, on the acquisition, financing, development, and construction of three utility-scale wind farms in Greece. These projects have secured power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Amazon.
Ørsted reports 2024 financial results with DKK 12.1 billion impairment in Q4

Ørsted reports an operating profit (EBITDA) for 2024 based on preliminary and unaudited figures. EBITDA, excluding new partnership agreements and cancellation fees, is expected to reach DKK 24.8 billion, aligning with the company’s latest guidance. Earnings from Offshore and Onshore operations were the primary contributors, performing as anticipated.
