Studio Rinnovabili, a sister company of Natural Power, has appointed Iva Lubenov as Head of Construction. Lubenov joins Studio Rinnovabili this month after more than 18 years with Nordex Italia, where she held a senior project management role and managed wind energy projects across Italy, other European markets and internationally. Her experience includes project delivery and construction contract management, including turnkey projects covering balance of plant and grid connection.
During her career, Lubenov has worked on projects with a combined installed capacity of approximately 2.2 GW. Her experience includes managing electrical and civil balance of plant subcontractors, transportation, cranes and installation services, as well as leading multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. She has also worked with international renewable energy companies and utilities.
Lubenov holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering, Management and Marketing and an MSc in Engineering from Tor Vergata University of Rome. She is a member of Rome’s Engineering Association and has completed specialist training in health and safety, reliability management, European procurement law and leadership.
