Chantiers de l’Atlantique completes Nordseecluster offshore substations for German North Sea installation

Chantiers de l’Atlantique has completed two offshore electrical substations for the Nordseecluster offshore wind project in the German North Sea, developed by RWE and Norges Bank Investment Management. The topsides are scheduled to depart Saint-Nazaire in March for installation around 50 kilometres north of the German island of Juist, where the foundations have already been installed.
Scotland secures 1.4 GW in CfD allocation round 7a

MacGregor to deliver 400-tonne AHC crane for floating wind construction vessel in South Korea

MacGregor has secured an order to deliver a 400-tonne active heave compensated (AHC) subsea crane for a 127-metre floating wind farm construction vessel. The contract was awarded by Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry, while vessel operations will be managed by Hana Shipping.
Nadara selects ZX Lidars ZX 300e wind lidar fleet for UK wind repowering programme

ZX Lidars has confirmed that Nadara has selected the ZX 300e wind lidar to support its wind repowering programme in the United Kingdom. The agreement covers the delivery of a wind lidar fleet under a turnkey scope that includes field services and operational support from ZX Measurement Services, together with ZX Power systems designed for long-term standalone operation.
Iberdrola increases wind share to 40.5% of 58,343 MW global capacity in 2025

Iberdrola reported that energy distributed worldwide during the 2025 financial year increased by 7.5% to a record 255,976 gigawatt-hours. Growth was largely driven by the United Kingdom, where distribution rose by 52.2%, including the contribution from SP Electricity North West.
Seatrium, GE Vernova and TenneT strike steel for 2GW Nederwiek 2 offshore grid platform in the Netherlands

Seatrium, GE Vernova and TenneT have marked the steel cutting for the third offshore platform linked to the 2GW offshore wind programme, Nederwiek 2. The three 2GW offshore platforms delivered by the Seatrium–GE Vernova consortium are now progressing at different construction stages. The first project, IJmuiden Ver Beta, reached steel cutting on 11 September 2024, followed by IJmuiden Ver Gamma on 14 May 2025.
