Natural Power has secured a five-year contract with ScottishPower Renewables to provide operations and maintenance services at five onshore wind farms in southern Scotland. Under the agreement, Natural Power will support Ewe Hill 1, Ewe Hill 2, Hagshaw Hill 2 and Wether Hill, while its existing operations and maintenance contract for Black Law Wind Farm has been extended.

To support the contract, the company has expanded its operational teams in Dumfries and Galloway, creating new engineering positions and integrating employees who transferred under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (TUPE) regulations.

Natural Power has added 23 dedicated employees across its Dumfries and Lanark operations. The Dumfries team comprises ten staff, including wind turbine technicians, a lead technician and a logistics coordinator. The Lanark operation has been expanded with 13 employees, including newly created leadership roles to support contract delivery.
