LogiLube has entered into an agreement with electric utility Rocky Mountain Power for a field pilot of LogiLube’s SmartGear gearbox condition monitoring technology. The technology will be applied to three wind turbine drive-trains at Rocky Mountain Power’s 99MW High Plains Wind Project. The project, which contains 66 1.5MW turbines, began operations in September 2009.

On October 20, the first LM 73.5 P wind turbine blade successfully arrived at Castellón Port. Destined for the Merkur offshore wind farm in Germany to power GE's Haliade 150-6MW turbine offshore, the 73.5 meter blade began its journey at LM Wind Power's factory in Castellón, and travelled 45 kilometers (km) by road to reach the port.
