Chartwell Marine has delivered Prosperous 6, a new crew transfer vessel, in partnership with Pacific Radiance, an offshore vessel operator in the Asia-Pacific region.
The vessel has completed sea trials, reaching over 25 knots at 85% engine load. A bollard push test recorded more than 17 tonnes of bollard push. Its low lightship displacement allows payloads of up to 35 tonnes.
Part of Chartwell Marine’s Brevity Class, the vessel is designed for the offshore wind sector in Asia-Pacific. It is loadline compliant, with a large superstructure to accommodate multiple crews and technicians, and can be built locally within the region using local content and workforce.
