France has launched its AO10 offshore wind tender, covering 11 fixed-bottom and floating wind projects with just over 10 GW of capacity across Normandy, Brittany, the South Atlantic coast and the Mediterranean Sea. The tender includes seven floating wind (FW) projects and four fixed-bottom (FB) projects, including three 1.35 GW fixed-bottom sites at Fécamp Grand Large, the 1.2 GW Bretagne Nord Ouest floating wind project and the 1.2 GW Oléron 1 development.

Ocean Winds installs first turbine at 500 MW Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm

Ocean Winds has announced the installation of the first wind turbine at the Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm (EMDT). Located off the coast of Le Tréport and Dieppe in France, the project will comprise 62 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 500 MW. With the offshore substation already installed, the first turbine is expected to begin generating electricity in the coming weeks as turbines are progressively connected to the grid.

European Energy extends wind farm asset management agreement with Enea Nowa Energia in Poland
