GE Vernova has reported improved performance in its wind operations for the third quarter of 2025, reflecting progress in stabilising the business and improving margins. GE Vernova secured 0.3 GW of onshore repowering orders during the quarter, bringing the total to 0.6 GW for the year to date. The company said it continues to focus on improving reliability, cost efficiency, and project execution across its wind portfolio as part of its broader effort to support the global transition to renewable energy.
Orders in the wind segment reached USD 1.8 billion, an increase of 4% on an organic basis, supported by stronger demand for onshore wind services. This growth offset a decline in equipment orders. Revenue totalled USD 2.6 billion, 8% lower than in the same period last year, mainly due to the nonrecurrence of a settlement from a cancelled offshore project in 2024.
The segment’s operational performance strengthened considerably, with EBITDA losses reduced and margins improving by 870 basis points year on year. The company attributed the improvement to more profitable onshore wind equipment, higher prices, and productivity gains. Offshore wind performance also benefited from fewer contract losses compared with 2024.
