Full Circle Wind Services has opened a new central warehouse in Livingston, Scotland, to expand its UK wind turbine maintenance support. Situated in the country’s central belt, the facility has access to the M8 motorway and is close to Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
The new site is six times larger than the company’s previous UK warehouse. It provides storage for maintenance supplies, electrical control units, and other components classed as critical for turbine uptime. The facility also has hot-desking areas, meeting rooms, and a training centre currently being developed.
Improved logistics have enabled next-day delivery across the UK. The Livingston site is also central to Full Circle’s local refurbishment strategy, which aims to reduce waste by inspecting defective components in-house and sending them to UK refurbishment partners rather than to facilities in Europe.
The company plans to base four full-time supply chain staff at the warehouse, with turbine technicians, engineers, office staff, and management using the site’s shared office facilities on a rotational basis.
