DNV has appointed Lisa Christie to the Energy Systems Executive Leadership Team as head of Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs. She is expected to take up the role on 7 September 2026 and will report directly to Energy Systems chief executive officer Ditlev Engel. In the position, Christie will lead the global Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs unit within Energy Systems.
Christie joins DNV with experience in the energy sector and corporate affairs leadership. She previously held public affairs leadership roles at Vattenfall, including Director of Public and Regulatory Affairs for the United Kingdom and Interim United Kingdom Country Manager. Before joining Vattenfall, she led the Group Public Affairs team at Centrica.
She has also been involved in public policy and energy transition initiatives, including serving as vice-chair of the United Kingdom Government’s Onshore Wind Industry Delivery Group and participating in the Offshore Wind Industry Council.
In her new role, Christie will oversee the Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs function in Energy Systems, which has 48 employees globally. Responsibilities include marketing and communication activities, engagement with policymakers and trade associations, internal communications, and development of digital customer engagement and advisory support capabilities.
