In a joint venture with China Railway Rolling Stock Corp (CRRC) in China, Voith is developing and producing wind turbine gearboxes. The first phase of the Chinese wind turbine gearbox joint venture focused on the development and manufacturing of gearboxes for wind turbines with an output of 2.5MW for a Chinese OEM.

AMSC’s revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 2020 were $23.6 million compared with $17.9 million for the same period of fiscal 2019. The year-over-year increase was a result of higher Grid and Wind segment revenues versus the year ago period.

RenewableUK has announced that the organisation’s next Chief Executive will be Dan McGrail, who is currently the CEO of Siemens Engines. He will take up his post in May. Mr McGrail joined Siemens UK in 2004 and has worked in a variety of roles across the energy industry.- Category: Company News
Ørsted’s Board of Directors has approved the annual report for 2020. Ørsted’s operating profit (EBITDA) amounted to DKK 18.1 billion, a 4 % increase compared to last year.

As a member of the RE100 initiative, Vaisala has achieved its target to use 100% renewable electricity by the end of 2020. In total, 14 Vaisala facilities around the world are powered by renewables. The target was achieved with a combination of self-produced energy and green electricity products purchased from local energy companies.
