Mooreast, based in Singapore, has signed a framework agreement with Norway-based GeoProvider to enhance offshore data analysis capabilities for floating offshore renewable energy projects. The partnership gives Mooreast access to GeoProvider’s geotechnical and geophysical data library to improve data interpretation and support larger and more complex offshore developments. Both companies plan to collaborate on offshore wind projects as the floating sector moves towards commercial-scale deployment.
Mooreast, which offers mooring system solutions, also provides geotechnical and geophysical assessments, including soil analysis to support project feasibility and mooring design.
GeoProvider, headquartered in Stavanger, delivers data services for offshore wind, energy exploration and carbon capture projects.
Mooreast has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Korea Ocean Engineering & Consultants (KOCECO) to explore joint activities in offshore mooring and seabed anchoring. KOCECO, recognised by South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, has experience in submarine cable installation and underwater engineering. The agreement aims to facilitate future collaboration in North Asia’s floating offshore wind sector.
