Loading of wind blades at the Port of Brake Germanydeugro Germany has signed a strategic agreement with J. Müller, the local port and terminal operator, to handle and store wind turbine components at the Port of Brake, Germany. The contract follows an award from a global wind turbine manufacturer.

The Port of Brake provides transshipment facilities, storage areas and equipment designed for complex breakbulk cargo. It includes heavy-lift quays, high-capacity cranes, large laydown areas and dedicated exit routes for transport vehicles. With a deep draft of 11.9 metres and berthing capacity for vessels up to 275 metres long, the port is well suited to managing large wind turbine components.

The collaboration supports the logistics needs of the renewable energy sector, particularly for importing wind turbine blades into the German market.
