Cadeler has signed two firm contracts for the full-scope transportation and installation of offshore wind turbines and their foundations for a forthcoming offshore wind project. The foundations transport and installation campaign is expected to begin in early 2029, using one of Cadeler’s new A-class vessels.
Turbine installation is planned to start in early 2030 and will be carried out by one of the company’s O-class jack-up vessels, with completion anticipated by the end of that year. The combined contract value is projected to be around € 500 million. Both contracts remain subject to the undisclosed client’s final investment decision. If the project does not proceed, the agreements may be cancelled, subject to a termination fee.
