Wolfspeed has announced a collaboration with Hopewind to integrate its 2.3 kV LM Pack Module into Hopewind’s modular 950 Vac wind power converter.
The new design uses silicon carbide devices and advanced packaging technology to achieve up to a 38% increase in power density and a switching frequency of up to 6 kHz, improving overall efficiency and reliability. The 2.3 kV LM Pack Module is scheduled for commercial release in early 2026.
