Smulders, Sif Group and Jörss-Blunck-Ordemann (JBO) will be working together on redesigning the tripod foundation for the offshore wind market.
The partners will be leveraging JBO's expertise in original tripod design acquired through their acquisition of Offshore Wind Technologie (OWT) in 2022. The collaboration combines fabrication skills with detailed tripod expertise. Previously, manufacturing studies revealed the tripod's potential for specific soil and climate conditions, distinct from traditional solutions like monopiles and jackets.
