Learnewable has released its February update of mapping data covering local sentiment and permitting conditions related to energy and infrastructure development. The update includes county-level information for solar, wind, battery energy storage systems and data centres, alongside newly added transmission sentiment indicators.
The datasets are presented through maps and Site Scout reports, which provide address-level information on local stakeholders and contact details. The update also introduces month-on-month trend indicators showing whether local sentiment and permitting conditions are improving, deteriorating or remaining stable.
According to Learnewable, the information is intended to support early-stage site assessment by highlighting locations with more favourable conditions and areas that may present higher development risks. County-level datasets are also available as a direct data feed for internal analysis and modelling.
